Donations for Famine in Africa! Please give what you can to the organization you trust. So much is needed. There is so little time.
Kids for Saving Earth – eco-day-camp for kids. Planning is on schedule, with a new look for this year. Still at the Community Hall, August 15 – 19, 9-12:30 every day. There are still a few places, so please call to register your child for this free event, or to volunteer as a youth leader, or an adult helper. Call Karen @ 486-7284 or Linda @ 483- 1471.
Make a Joyful Noise! Our annual all music service is on Sunday, August 21st this year at 10:30 am. Fellowship and light lunch to follow. Come and sing with us: songs of praise, of joy, of celebration, inspiration, and of love. Wear something bright and colourful! Call Karen (486-7284) if you would like to perform (solo, group, band). Everybody welcome – come sing!
Prayer Group: In recess for the summer. For info or to ask for prayers, please call Doretta Smith at 486-7192 or Diane Grayson at 486-7492.
Milestones: Died: In Powell River, Jesse Blakie, June 18, 2011. Our condolences go out to family and friends.
