Season of Lent: Ash Wednesday begins the Christian season of Lent – a time of reflection and a time of self-examination leading up to Easter. The church will offer a Lenten video series from Spirit Connection (United Church of Canada TV production) called “Caring for Waters”. 4 sessions: Saturdays, Feb. 7 & 21, March 7 & 21, 1:30pm at the church. All are welcome. Discussion & refreshments to follow the video. Please reserve your spot – call Karen at 604-413-0994.
Healing Ministry: We are now accepting bookings for free healing sessions. Please call Barb Wells at 604-486-7677 to make an appointment. Healing Pathways is a spiritual method of energy healing, similar to Healing Touch.
Healing Pathways Practice group: If you have done at least Phase 1, you are welcome to our practice group at the church, Wednesday 2-4pm , February 11 and 25th. (Please note time change)
Prayer Group: Please call Doretta at 604-486-7192 for prayers or information re prayer group.
Muffin Break: February 28th, 10-12am at the church. Free muffins, tea, coffee and great conversation! Bring a friend and come for a visit.
Milestones: Died: Hugo Mensink, January 5. Our condolences go out to friends and family. Also, deepest sympathy to Sandy McCormick on the loss of her son.
Minister’s Office Hours: Thursdays, 2-4pm at the church. Need to talk? Coffee’s on! (completely confidential)
